The Alachua County Special Magistrate Powers, Duties and Procedures are found in Chapter 24 of the Alachua County Code. The Special Magistrate typically holds Hearings to hear code violation cases scheduled on the agenda on the first Thursday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at 9:00 a.m., in Room 209 of the Alachua County Administration Building.
